Illustration of the imaginary bird, Phoenix. Figure composed with delicate and smooth lines, emphasizes the feeling/essence of Korean traditional patterns. Using the silver colored marker on a blue background, expressing splendid and solid feeling of Korea's mother-of-pearl, I tried to contain traditional atmosphere, and also express the elegance with the curves.
 

상상의 새, 봉황을 형상화 한 것. 섬세하고 부드러운 선으로 모양을 이루게 함으로 한국적인 문양을 부각시켰다. 푸른 바탕에 은색 마카를 사용함으로 우리나라의 화려하고 견고한 한국 자개와 같은, 전통적인 정취를 담고, 곡선들을 사용함으로 유려함을 표현하고자 했다.
