Into the void

Gnossienne; n. a moment of awareness that someone you’ve known for years still has a private and mysterious inner life. Somewhere in the hallways of their personality is a door locked from the inside, a stairway leading to a wing of the house that you’ve never fully explored an unfinished attic that will remain maddeningly unknowable to you, because ultimately neither of you has a map, or a master key, or any way of knowing exactly where you stand.

Into the void is an interactive adventure book meant to capture the essence of gnossienne. Taking inspiration from choose your adventure story books, I aimed to implement a parallel storylines through out the book based on the reader's choices.

Illustration style

Grayscale photo bashing to achieve a raw misleading effect, the aim was to keep the visuals open to interpretation, truly confusing the readers over the plotline of the story.

Layouts

Staying consistent to the concept of gnossienne the layout is designed to be variable to the storyline.
