Soul Chef Logo
For this Logo I designed we were given lists of words that we could combine and we had to draw and then turn into a logo. After a bunch of different concepts I liked Soul Chef the most and developed that one. I like this project specifically because of how much I changed the piece from the first concept to the final piece. By listening to the critique from my classmates and professor I had a very large shift in imagery from the first concept below to the piece above. The class and professor liked this piece so much that it was posted on the Temple Graphic and Interactive Design Instagram page!
For the first designs I wanted to have the whole ghost with the chef hat blend into the body as you can see above but when I presented this for critique I was reminded that logos shouldn't be as tall as this one was and that I should shorten it and make it more simple to allow for scaling down or up.
