Kannagi Art District: Chifumi x St+art India

I'm very glad to finally reveal my latest artwork in Kannagi Nagar / Chennai (India). It has been
Keep coming back for more art reveals as we take you through the latest additions to the Kannagi Art District. honestly one of the most complex project of the year, but I hope it bring more colours and energy to the neighborhood.
Being part of the huge program was an honor, please check the full realisations by other fellow artists on the StartIndia page.

Hands are used in Chifumi’s work as a signature element. In Coimbatore for St+art’sUkkadam Art District he had used the Yoni Mudra in the center, and dedicated it to people from the transgender community who live in the building hosting the mural. And here, at Kannagi, to foster a sense of connection with his previous mural, he adapts the Kalesvara mudra dedicated to the Lord of Time. This mudra is often used as a gesture to calm the tumultuous mind. Rich blues and deep greens are used to elevate the mural. These colours are inspired by the peacock and convey breathtakingly the impactful and meaningful connection between man and nature.
