BAQESTAN RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX
RERAD ARCHITECTURE STUDIO
Baqestan residential complex located in Zafaranieh area of Tehran was designed at the request of the employer on 6 floors on the ground floor and 3 floors of basement and common parking, including a swimming pool and sports club in the basement and green space on the roof.
Baghistan neighborhood, which is the location of the project, created the idea in the mind of the designer that the facade and the building are reminiscent of traditional Iranian gardens and use the common divisions and materials of that time. Finally, with different etudes, we reached a square shape and 9 divisions in the facade. A square that has 9 smaller squares in its heart that make the windows of the building look suspicious. Some of these squares have green vegetation that, in addition to being beautiful, is also reminiscent of an Iranian garden.
Clay, which is a common material used in traditional Iranian gardens, was used as the main material and facade covering. The second material used is turquoise glazed tiles, which along with clay play a beautiful harmony and is a common composition in Iranian gardens.
