Tabletop Fountain

Tabletop Fountain
For my final hackathon project of the 2021-2022 school year, I made a tabletop fountain. My inspiration was another tabletop fountain from hobby lobby. My friend and I were out shopping for other projects and we saw these fountains. My friend bought one but it unfortunately broke the next day. So I decided to make one of these fountains myself. A little hot gluing was all it took for the fountain to take shape.
I started by getting a bucket, some detailing and a small water pump.
Next, I took a trip outside and grabbed some rocks in a field nearby. I then friction fit the parts together and measured out the tubing of the water pump.
Using an industrial hot glue gun, I glued all the parts in place and cut the tube to length as well. Once that was done, all that was left was to fill it with water and plug it in.
A normal hackathon is 4 hours long, and if I didn't work on the project for all of the 4 hours, my grade would drop. When I got to this point in the project, there was still 2 hours left. I then started to paint the bucket as a final bit of work.
At the end of the hackathon, I had finished my new tabletop fountain.
