The search for Bigfoot Bradley!
Bradley's got big feet. Really, really, really big feet! He doesn't know why he's got them - maybe he's from another planet.
So while everyone else is following giant footprints all over town, Bradley's just trying to find out where he comes from.
This was the first book I'd written as well as illustrated. It had been kicking (sorry) around in my head for awhile, gone through some permutations, stopped and started numerous times before coalescing. It was also a first crack at producing a book project digitally. 'I got a Rocket!' and 'My Dad's a Wrestler!' were both painted, analogue style. But with Bradley I wanted to mix it up, keeping some scanned pencil sketches, vector shapes, scanned textures and patterns as collage elements, and photoshop for textures and further colour work.
Designed and produced artwork, too, so a wonderfully immersive experience!
Really wanted to keep a simple, fresh approach from initial sketching. Mostly began the final art directly from these, though did change a fair bit at first vector art stage to make sure Bradley was consistent.
