CamCardio is an iPhone app developed by Herzbit. It measures the heart activity and is able to extract the complete QRS complex from the blood-flow, for which a traditional 6 channel ECG (Electro Cardio Gram) is needed. It uses the only the iPhone camera and the flash and no external sensors are needed, making this quite innovative, inexpensive and noninvasive approach to measure and monitor the heart activity.
