THORR GamePad
By: Kweku White
GamePad is a versatile gaming hardware that uses a RasberryPi that allows the user to emulate games up to PS2 quality using ROMs stored on a 64GB micro SD card. That hardware is enclosed in a 3d printed frame incrested with initials and quotes from the movie Avengers, Age of Ultron.
Schematics were created in EasyEda to be sent off to a manufacturer who returned a completed PCB with all the components in place based on the schematic from EasyEDA.
Each component was sodered on top of the PCB. The raspberry pi and Screen are powered by 4 AA rechargeable batteries. The PCB measured 175 x 75 with a width of approximately 20 mm. After a few prints, I was successfully able to enclose by finished PCB into my 3d printed enclosure.
3d printed enclosure labeled THORR V4 and incrested with Ultron quotes from the blockbuster Avengers Age of Ultron. My initials and the time of the finished product are also included in the final design of the PCB.
By rendering my gamepad in Fusion 360 I can visualize the potential functionality and aesthetic of the hardware in its enclosure.
