25th April - Hickling Broad
In many ways I find the Norfolk broads rather hard to photograph. Perhaps it's the lack of access around the broads with so much of it being private and the flatness doesn't help either - this is compared to say parts of the coast where there are often coastal paths that afford grand vista's. But on the other hand a still misty morning can be quiet magical.
I'm continuing my focus on more intimate landscapes - ones that afford a more selective view and that perhaps bring a stronger atmosphere. This was taken last week at Hickling with a mist that was fast burning off but left some lovely highlights to focus on. It was a gorgeous morning!
