The business card project was definitely one of my favorites to work on this past semester, as it allowed me to combine two of my big loves : pop culture and design. I Decided to make cards for the members of the fictional law firm "Nelson, Murdock, and Page" from the series Daredevil. My goal was to make something that looked professional to go with it being for a law firm but also reflected many of the aesthetics found in the show, especially in its opening title sequence. The title sequence features red liquids dripping and flowing onto a statue figure, so I wanted to pay homage to that. I also wanted to pay tribute to the characters themselves with small embellishments. This is especially reflected due to main character Matt Murdock being blind, so adding the name of the law firm in braille felt like the perfect touch.
