Ben & Jerry's & Diabites
Diabetes has become a more and more serious issue in the U.S. as according to CDC, 37.3 million people have diabetes, which is 11.3% of the US population. Furthermore, 96 million people aged 18 years or older have pre-diabetes (38.0% of the adult US population) [1]. Ice-creams are usually considered to be a risky food for people with diabetes to consume. The average serving of Ben Jerry’s is packed with more fat and sugar than most of its competitors. To be politically correct, Ben Jerry’s is to stop marketing its ice cream and sweet treats to children under the age of 12 [2]. Therefore, I wanna make a controversial statement featuring diabetes with Ben & Jerry's commercials. In this project, I will also design ice-cream flavors that have iconic names that are restated from flavors that Ben & Jerry's has.
This series of ice creams have two branches as shown below. One as medicine sold in drug stores, the other as ice creams sold in grocery stores.
