During the time JA.CA was ahead of Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil's (CCBB) education program, between 04/2018 and 01/2022, I worked on the project as design coordinator. The idea behind the project was to put the education program on the same level as the exhibitions the museum hosted.

Programa CCBB Educativo – Arte & Educação was a transversal and multidisciplinary effort, creating events, strategies and publications that nurtured the experience of the museum's visitors with creativity, obstervation, reflection and investigation.

The scope for the project's visual identity was pretty vast, and the deadline quite short, with countless activities structured around 6 different axis happening independently in 4 different cities.

To deal with this level of complexity in such short notice, the strategy was to define the design systems most basic 'building blocks', that could then be repeated and adapted for each individual work. That solution gave the system enough flexibility to allow us to use each new design challenge as a chance to further explore the possibilities of the visual identity.

The reach of the design department was quite broad: images for social media, posters, animated vignettes, uniforms, documents, leaflets, badges, websites, hotsites, apps, etc. The printouts made for some of the exhibitions, named Convite à Ativação (something like 'triggering invitation') were the most challenging and exciting projects.

Developed collectively involving people from all the different areas of the project, the goal of the project was to take the discussions brought by the exhibition even further, with content and activities that sought to promote dialogue, reflection and creativity.
