TEDxSFU is an event held in Vancouver, BC promoting ideas worth spreading. The event organized entirely by student volunteers at Simon Fraser University. Although the event is licensed by TED, we are an independently organized event.

 

The personal human experience is constantly redefined through unpredictable and unknown circumstances presented through extraordinary encounters. With Make It Yours, TEDxSFU explored opportunities for designing your own path through innovations in technology, entertainment, and design. We invited speakers to tell us of breaking through expectations, taking control, and finding empowerment. The stories, no longer than 18 minutes in length, facilitated dialogue, opened up new realms of thought and continued to spread ideas in the community.
