Bridgerton is a Netflix period drama series based on Julia Quinn’s novels set in Regency era England. The story revolves around the eight siblings of the highly respected Bridgerton family, navigating London high society in search of love and life purpose, surrounded by friends and rivals alike.
The series premiered in December 2020 and quickly became a worldwide sensation. One of its appeal is  - without a doubt - the costumes. Ellen Mirojnick, the costume designer, transforms familiar Regency-era silhouettes into something fresh and fantastical. With vibrant colours and modern details, viewers relate better to the show and thus born ‘Regencycore’, a new trend mixing Regency and modern fashion.

After the release of season 2 in March 2022, more fashion and beauty brands have created a Bridgerton-inspired collection, which also inspired me to create a capsule collection of my own.

I took inspirations from both seasons of the show, including little elements like the bee that is crucial to the second season and hyacinths that appears a lot in the show and also the first name of the youngest Bridgerton sibling. In terms of the color palette, I drew inspiration from the 3 prominent families featured in the show: the Bridgertons, the Featheringtons, and the Sharmas. The three families have very different aesthetic and contrasting background that is reflected in their choice of color.
