It's March 2022, the world is still in a somewhat crazy place for some of us.

I was visiting a friend in Inner Mongolia who operates a test facility for car winter testing under extreme conditions. This visit was supposed to be 5 days long. Suddenly there were no flights back to Shanghai where I'm based, anymore.

Shanghai got hit by a Covid-19 Omicron wave and the Government was taking it very seriously. 26 million people are locked in at home or in quarantine centers.

My 5-day trip to Inner Mongolia ended up being 3 weeks long.  I never made it back to Shanghai. Currently, I'm in Singapore and it's already beginning of May.

We did several trips with the Yamaha YXZ into the wilderness which was super awesome and super cold at the same time. We got stuck several times in deep snow. Unfortunately I didn't bring my photo gears, so I started using my phone and borrowed a drone. The scenery was just too beautiful to not be captured.
