The Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) approach aims to make planning and budgeting processes at the national and local levels more participatory through the genuine involvement of grassroots organizations and communities in order to support poverty reduction/alleviation, empower Civil Society Organization (CSOs), and improve LGU-CSO and inter-CSO relationships.
With the result of the BuB implementation from F.Y. 2014-2016, DILG Region 3, thru the leadership of RD Julie Daquioag as the Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (RPRAT) Chairperson and in partnership with other National Government Agencies (NGAs), is delighted to see and showcase the significant impacts of different BuB projects in Central Luzon to the marginalized sector of the society.
