The Year of Tiger l 3D & 2D Motion for Lunar New Year
A year goes and comes, and while the pandemic situation has become the new normal, people still expect a slow recovery to get their life back on track. The tiger embodies courage and bravery. Therefore, the year of the tiger carries the wish to get rid of the shadow of the pandemic.
I collaborated with Yafang to create a 2D & 3D hybrid animation since we wanted to combine the two mediums for a long time. Besides, it's always fun to design artworks in a new way.
The animation is to express the new year greeting from the company. After discussing with other animation team members, we decided to give the company's logo tiger's features to convey the company's admiration of the tiger's spirit.
