Loch Rusky a fresh water loch beside the A81 road between Callander and The Lake of Menteith on the outskirts of the Trossachs National park. The loch is popular with photographers mostly because of the boats and you can get calm waters giving lovely reflections.

But one must beware of the the Midge on calm days. These ones tend to roam in gangs and carry baseball bats. Ok maybe no baseball bats but are very vicious little guys.
