Food-Inspired Typography
Through this project, issues of typographic form, history, grids, and concept were explored. A significant portion of it was exploration of personal expression and experimentation typographically. The goal is to broaden the vernacular of typographic exploration, refine the craft of typography, and rethink existing constructs and ideas. An A1 poster was designed as an outcome that reflects a recipe of our favourite meal. The manually constructed typography of the admired recipe of a croissant led to the scrutiny of the overlapped, numerously folded, and interlaced layers that makes it distinct from any other recipe. The vibrant colors resemble the romanticized scene of enjoying a plate of croissant before heading off to start your day.
