世界級的國立故宮博物院，在這全球新冠疫情中，打造戶外美術館，邀請全球各地及在地藝術家，透過藝術創作詮釋經典文物之美。以當代藝術賦予了文物新意涵為主軸策展；定名《藝術方舟》為主題，在設計上以「諾亞方舟，英語：Noah's Ark」為發想，畫面以南院建築本體結合方舟意象，創造出一艘名為「故宮南方舟」的船體，傳達南院如同方舟般，乘載各式藝術的多樣性及可能性。視覺方面採用文字結合圖像，並設計圓形多寶閣意象，圖像以南院具代表性之特色進行妝點，包含佛陀、犧尊、生命之樹...等；透過視覺傳遞，表達南院如諾亞方舟一樣賦有延續的使命，宛如南院秉持著多元藝術之傳承使命，讓藝術從傳統迎向未來繼續延續下去。

The world-class National Palace Museum (Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum) has built an outdoor art museum during the global Covid-19 pandemic, inviting artists from all over the world and the locals as well, to interpret the beauty of classic cultural relics through artistic creation.

The exhibition is mainly curated with the new definition of cultural relics endowed by contemporary art; the theme is named "Art of Ark", and which was designed based on "Noah's Ark". The picture is mixed Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum’s building itself and the ark’s image to create a hull which named "Ark of Southern National Palace Museum ". To convey the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum is like the ark carrying the various arts' diversity and possibilities.

In the visual aspect, texts are combined with images, and also designed with a circular wunderkammer concept. The image is decorated with the representative characteristics of the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, including the Buddha, the Zun wine vessel in the shape of the animal, the tree of life... etc. Through the visual transmission to express Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum like Noah’s Ark that endowed with a mission of continuity, just as the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum upholds the mission of inheriting multiple arts, allowing art to continue from tradition to the future.
