In this school assignment, I created a mock concert poster for the artist Skepta. To begin with I made a mind map and sketched some thumbnails. The idea that intrigued me most was Photoshopping the concert information onto Skepta's torso as if it was tattooed on him. This proved to be tricky, but I was able to execute it fairly well. I also made a physical collage of images that I cut out and placed on a board to create the background image. 

These are some of the images I used to make my collage for the background of the poster. I used a black and white filter on the final photo, as well as a slightly opaque black square to give it a dimmed effect. 

I used this image of Skepta as the base of my edits for the main body of the poster. 

In the end, I was most pleased with the effect of the fully Black & White poster, but I saved a copy of the one with the torso in color as well.
