The Shelter Necklace is about spiritual shelter. The shelter is a place where we feel safe and can hide from worries and problems. Starting from this idea I’ve imagined a perfect place, a place that is calm, among coral reefs, with many creatures that also found their shelter. Thereby, using freeform crochet I created coral shapes, sea urchins, anemones. 

I was also inspired by the human anatomy, creating a heart that conveys emotion, feeling, and in this particular case the idea of belonging to a shelter.
