“the eye of the beholder”
One suggestion is that the accuracy of a mimicry is in “the eye of the beholder” 
referring to that what humans perceive as imperfect mimicry 
may well be perceived as high similarity by the targeted signal receivers 
(Cuthill and Bennett 1993; Dittrich et al. 1993; Edmunds 2000).
