We have reinvented the magnetic knife block with a convertible magnetic knife block that is
aesthetically pleasing and fits into any size and style of kitchen.
You can mount the magnetized knife holder onto the wall with the provided hardware to hang

the freestanding eco-friendly Richlite base to store your knives horizontally. Either way, you will

One side of this cutting board is chopping, slicing, and dicing with a convenient groove to catch

The cutting board is made of an environmentally-friendly material called Richlite that is using

Founders Pierre and Stephan, along with a team of engineers and designers, spent 18 months
designing and creating prototypes of knives, looking at shape, feel, comfort, grip, ease of use,
and more. With every iteration and every test, they came closer to perfection.
Throughout the design process, we worked with and interviewed top chefs from around
the globe to find out:
- How they use their knives
- What knives are most important to them and why
- What is missing from knives currently on the market
- What knives they use most and why
- What they need from a “perfect” knife
Ecriture came at this design process from an engineering standpoint, looking to create a
comfortable, ergonomic grip and a blade sharper than other knives but still easy to adjust and
use. We even engineered and patented Swingtech technology for the balance adjustment,
giving you unprecedented control and versatility with every single knife.
The result is a knife with perfect combination between contemporary and practicality that are
designed for YOU.
We have spent the last 18 months perfecting the design of the Ecriture Perfect Knives and are
now ready to begin the production and manufacturing process. We have already begun the
tooling for custom pieces and tooling will be complete by the end of July 2020, as soon as we
reach our funding goal and the Kickstarter campaign ends.
For the next 30 days, production in small test batches will begin, overseen by Stephan at every
step. In September 2020, we plan for the first runs of mass production to start. Assembly and
packaging will happen in October, and shipping begins in November. We have worked with our manufacturers and factories to ensure all of the Kickstarter orders will be delivered before
Christmas 2020.
The production process follows these steps:
1. Creation of molds and tooling.
2. Manufacturing and producing individual pieces.
3. Assembly in the warehouse.
4. Design and creation of packaging.
5. The product is packaged and shipped via international courier services.
