Lembrança is the portuguese expression for a memory, a souvenir, some item of sentimental value to keep in mind a place or an event.With this piece of work I want to capture the memories of my time in Portugal in content and picture. The form of expression are the omnipresent, traditional Azulejos (tiles)—a stable Part of the portuguese landscape and culture. The motivs are taken from different aspects of history, society, and landscape—shortly the portuguese savoir-vivre. Every piece is scrinprinted and I bound the book on my own.
