PRODUCT PREVIEWS
I was assigned to create preview graphics for the website and social media for products Sideshow would be selling in the near future. I received a few raw photographs of the product and then would choose one image with the most ideal angle and lighting. I then would find an appropriate background image as well as special effects to house the figure and make it look like it was in a real environment cohesive with the characters universe. I made the lighting match as well as added elements that fit each product storyline. In addition to creating a realistic environment, I was also assigned with creating a title treatment for the character. Sometimes the company, like Marvel or DC, would send us the bare bones title treatment to go off of from a comic book series if that is what they wanted but most of the time I had to create the titles from scratch.
PRODUCT PHOTOSHOP WORK
When a product was ready to be sold on the Sideshow website, I was tasked with creating a production gallery for said product. This included creating "drama shots" by illustrating a realistic background environment for the product to live in on the screen. I masked out the product from its original background, chose a background, created special effect elements, changed the lighting, and edited the levels of the image along with any other edits that are needed to create the most exciting
final image possible.

EVENT BRANDING
Sideshow hosted many social media and online events throughout the year and my team was tasked with branding all of them. We would each create our own version of what we thought the event should look like from a marketing and artistic perspective. We had to take into consideration the desires of the company that the event might be based off of, how to capture an audiences attention through one post, the continuity of the character and/or universe, and the versatility of the design to be applied to multiple graphics and formats. The images below are some of my ideas for the branding for these events.
CHARACTER QUOTE SOCIAL POSTS
Later into my time at Sideshow, the social team presented a potential project for us to work on while in between assignments. The goal was to connect with our fanbase (I called them our "fan-mily") by designing fun instagram squares of different popular movie and TV quotes. From Star Wars to Harry Potter to A Christmas Story and The Big Labowsky, my team and I came up with different graphics that Sideshow fans and followers could repost and share to their own accounts, just for fun.
INSTAGRAM STORY BLOG PROMOTION
One of my jobs was to make Instagram story posts to promote blogs that our content team would write. I had to follow a guide and fit the design within certain dimensions but also make it eye catching and entice users to click on them. Below are a few of the ones I came up with.
