- Bionic Hair Dryer -

IMPULSE hair dryer adopts a bionic, organic design , and to break the stereotype of the hair dryer, the gun-shaped grip is removed and changed to a complex and sophisticated organic stand.

Concept

The blood circulation system of creatures.

Blood flows and rushes through the blood vessels, runs all the way to the heart to accumulate, and then sends out to continue the cycle. The flow of heat in the hair dryer is similar to the circulation in the body of a living creature, which is warm and impulsive. The body of the hair dryer corresponds to the heart of the organism, which is an essential area for energy to be gathered and then sent out. The word "IMPULSE" means " powerful and impulsive", which can better reflect the design concept of this product.

IMPULSE吹風機採用了仿生、有機的造型設計，並打破人們對於吹風機型態的既定印象，將槍型握桿的造型去除，更改為複雜精緻的有機支架。

設計理念

生物的血液循環系統。

血液在血管中流動奔騰，一路奔馳到心臟聚集後再送出繼續循環。吹風機內熱風的流動就好比是生物體內循環，都是溫暖且具有衝勁的。吹風機的機身對應生物體內的心臟，是能量聚集再送出的重要區域。IMPULSE一詞有「衝動、衝勁」的意譯，更能呼應此產品的設計理念。

I want to make a product that everyone will use every day and is quite familiar with the operation. Regardless of men and women, children and adults, we must have had contact with the hair dryer, and have some imagination of this product. A body, a handheld grip, and some are foldable. People are treating it as a common necessity.

The target audience of this product is set for those who are well-off and like to decorate their homes with flashy ornaments. This allows them to have a unique necessity. It will be placed in the home living space, when not in use as a table or shelf ornament.

At first, I was thinking towards changing the way it is held. When I was doing product research, I found that when the hair dryer was blowing at different angles, the position of the hand grip of the hair dryer would be somewhat different. So I thought that it can have a lot of ways to hold it, and break away from the original only "one grip" type, the gun-shaped grip shape removed and changed to a complex and sophisticated organic stand. The overall size is pocket-sized, mainly with two to three fingers through the bracket fixed to pick up and operate.

我想做一個每個人每天都會用到，並且相當熟悉操作的產品。不分男女老少，一定都接觸過吹風機，且對於這項產品有一定的想像。一個機身、一個手持握桿，有些是可以摺疊的。人們都把它當作是個習以為常的生活必需品。

此產品的目標族群是設定針對家境富裕、喜愛以浮誇擺飾裝飾家裡的客群。讓他們可以擁有獨一無二的生活必需品。它會放置在居家生活空間裡，平時不用時會當成桌上或是架上的擺飾。

起初，我是朝著改變它的握持方式做思考。在做產品研究時，我發現吹風機在吹整不同角度時，手握吹風機握桿的位置會有些不同。於是想到可以它有很多種握持方式，且跳脫原本只有「一個握桿」的型態，將槍型握桿的造型去除，更改為複雜精緻的有機支架。整體為袖珍尺寸，主要是以兩至三根手指穿過支架固定後拿起操作。
