Illustration students of UTS were approached by community radio station 2ser to pitch a promotional campaign to increase the station’s revenue through memberships and merchandise.
My pitch, Consume, communicates the diversity of the station and its listeners. The illustrated characters drool, devour and binge on the variety of the station’s offerings.
The slightly rough, hand generated illustration style and grotesque subject matter plays with the idea of commercial consumer culture, which appeals to the target audience of the station.
The pitch was shortlisted for the campaign.
