Annual report for Harold's Stores Inc, a Dallas based chain of traditional, high-end classic styled ladies and men's specialty apparel stores. The chain operated 43 stores in 19 mid-western and southeastern states in the United States. Prior to its bankruptcy filing in 2008, the company employed 624 people.
An actual leather saddle maker was hired to created this custom cover design. He created the design in a piece of raw leather that the printer used to create a multi-level die. The logo was provied as a vector file and added later. The paper is a heavyweight soft finish to mimic the feel of actual leather.
Hand drawn illustrationa and "Heliograph" photo conversions to look like etchings completed the rustic look.
