Lani Bushnell approached Steven Noble to help create a customized logo identity for their new salon and boutique called High Society Salon & Boutique located in Petaluma, California. The task at hand for this illustration was to include elements that evoke and symbolize “high society.” The result was this elegant "bouquet like" composition that includes a combination of a peacock feather, iris flower and hairbrush that successfully helps convey that message of classy high society that this salon symbolizes. According to some myths, in history, lore, and legend, the peacock symbol carries omens of nobility, guidance, holiness, watchfulness, and protection. The iris commonly means wisdom, hope, trust, and valor.
