A New York-based senior business leader with construction management experience, Anthony “Tony” DiTucci has over two decades of industry knowledge. After working in senior project management roles, he later became the president of Livingston Associates. Tony DiTucci is actively involved in community service and supports organizations, including serving on the Facilities Committee at Catholic Family Center.

Catholic Family Center seeks to improve the dignity of human life by offering a helping hand to those in need. Working closely with other faith-based communities and partners, the Catholic Family Center has engaged in multiple initiatives, including the Joseph Avenue Apartments and Francis Center situated in Rochester. The project is a partnership between the Catholic Family Center and the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA).

The collaboration aided the reconstruction of Francis Center shelter for homeless adult men to include an additional 40 emergency beds and nine new apartments set to provide supportive services. The nine new housing units will cater to individuals with serious mental illness, those re-entering the society after serving jail sentences, and substance-abuse victims. Support services shall include preventive medical services and case management, among others.

The project is part of Catholic Family Center’s mission to offer housing solutions to address homelessness. To complete the $4.1 million project, the Homeless Housing and Assistance Program at the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance provided over $4 million, while the Catholic Family Center contributed $50,000. The project funding was facilitated under the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative. Marlene Bessette, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Catholic Family Center, thanked all stakeholders, including OTDA, New York State, the City of Rochester, and the Governor.
