The main color is choosen to give the feeling of the flavor of Vietnamese rice, specifically "Tám Xoan" and "Bắc Hương". While Tám Xoan is designed with beige green to emphasize its light sweetness and the illustration shows 8 grains of rice on a bowl (8 and "Tám" are homonymic in Vietnamese), the illustration on Bắc Hương packing is a pot giving off sweet scent of cooked rice. Bắc Hương can be understood as putting a pot on a stove and the sweet flavor of rice will pervasive in the kitchen, bringing memory of home.
