Design
Invisible qualities
Design is one of those element that, when done well, is almost invisible.

A well-designed piece, be it a brochure, a newsletter, a business card, a packaging, or trade show booth, speaks for itself. The person experiencing it may not be aware of its positive design features, but those features speak to your audience just the same. A badly designed piece, on the other hand, screams incompetence and unprofessionalism, traits that are apparent to everyone, whether or not they know what it is they’re reacting to. In both cases, the benefits - or detriments – accrue entirely to the brand.

For that very reason, every piece that is produced, positions the company and the brand as professional, dependable, and trustworthy.

Designing in a vacuum can and will make the life of a designer a living nightmare if not prepared to real-life conditions. Designing a logo or building a brand in a studio is a wonderful experience cherished by designers all over the world... until somebody ask for a 3D rendition, or a car wrap, or trade show "gizmos".
Designing a brand goes beyond a clean logo. The logo will need to serve a purpose and function once brought to life at various corporate retreats, trade shows, annual events...
Not all logos are created equal. Some of them will end up resting comfortably on a business card and a website, while others will be blown up to the size of a building. Beside designing a logo, a good design team will also spend a significant amount of time designing a full complement of environmental graphics that can be used on direct mail pieces, print ads, social media channels and even trade show booths.
