Background
This painting is a piece of a larger body of work regarding my creative process. When I am beginning to create something, I really need to hone in and focus on the different ideas that I have. The AirPods represent me needing to drown everything else out while I focus on what's important. The colorful shapes are meant to distract from the meaning of the piece to tie into the "drowning everything out" part of the painting.
