This coral reef infographic was created for a Vector Illustration class to demonstrate 5 steps to help protect our coral reefs. After doing some research and learning different ways that we can all be educated to better help these ecosystems--I came up with a color scheme that seemed to embody the this theme while also matching each step's elements. In this specific project I wanted to practice giving depth to different objects to make them look more realistic.
These are the concept sketches and thumbnails that I created for this infographic project. The final vector ended up being quite different as I added a step and combined a few of the thumbnail ideas along with the final layout of the info-graph. Overall though the concept as a whole stayed the same.
This is the color palette that I chose to use for this project as I thought it best fit the different elements in this infographic.
These are the mockups that I created for this project the first on the iPhone represents either an ad or a infographic for a museum or aquarium app. The second mockup is supposed to represent an infographic that would psychically see at an aquarium or museum.
