Objective: The purpose of this assignment was to create a four-page magazine spread based on an article given to me. It is imperative for graphic designers to be able to create something based on images, graphics, or text given to them.
Design Brief: I created a four-page spread for an article about artificial intelligence and how AIs think differently than how humans do. For the design of the spread, I wanted to keep it clean and modern. All the images pertained to robots and the inner workings of robotics as well as the human brain. I kept the color palette mostly blues, pinks, and tans. The typography I used is angular with futuristic, sci-fi vibes to tie in the technology elements of the article. I created theoretical magazine articles for the cover and added pull quotes so that the spread looked like the beginning of a regular magazine.
