Impact of COVID-19 Responses on Survivors of Human Trafficking - The Story of a Fisherman

This film is produced as part of the research project looking at the impact of Covid-19 on the most vulnerable community, including survivors of trafficking.

The project is conducted by Humanity Research Consultancy (HRC) with the COVID Collective Research Platform. COVID Collective is supported by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and coordinated by the Institute of Development Studies (IDS).

The full reports are expected to be published in April. Legal and economic actions are taken towards the Vanuatu-flagged, Taiwanese-operated vessel in this film by both the Taiwanese government and the US Customs and Border Protection.
