It was summer break and I thought I could let some creative juices out for some exciting project held by the International department in my college (GEO). They created this website called "DiverCity" where the stories from international students are published there. It's like the whole world could be seen from that one website. 

The student was from Kazakhstan and she wanted to show her culture through storytelling. She told us about folklore she grew up listening to. It was interesting as we could interpret and understand it from many perspectives. I drew her vision from her writing. She said it complimented it in every way. 

Another one is from Thailand. Every international student struggle that could not be handled easily is missing our home countries. It's hard, but we can hold it.. it will be fine.. So she poured her heart out by telling us the street food back in Thailand. It was a heartwarming story as I could see myself in that situation. Therefore, I poured my heart out to illustrate it.
