Based in London, a city renowned for its creative and historical importance within the fashion industry, Colocsty searches for unique items around the world to deliver to customers wherever they are in the UK. Colocsty believes that fashion transcends all boundaries, and they are passionate about sharing this belief with their customers.

Inspiration & Concept
Carnivals happen in the middle of summer, and Latin America is where these festivities are most celebrated. Feathers are a standard in these costumes. A big part of the samba dancers wear colorful feathers, using them as wings, over their bodies and over their vividly decorated trailers and car fleet. Carnivals are full of color and texture, in constant movement and rhythm. Colocsty is exactly that, color, happiness and energy.
Los carnavales suceden durante el verano, y latinoamerica es donde esta celebración explota en casi todos los paises de la región. La pluma es uno de los standards para la vestimenta. Una gran parte de los bailarines de samba visten de plumas coloridas, usandolas principalmente como alas y coronas, sobre sus cuerpos y sobre las carrozas. El carnaval, en un plano abierto, está lleno de color y textura en constant movimiento y ritmo. Colocsty es eso, color, felicidad y energía.
Script Lettering
Colocsty’s logotype is based on traditional script lettering styles. Its design combines high contrast in its lines, and dynamism in its ligatures.
It’s elegant, but quite casual.
El logotipo de Colocsty está basado en tradicionales estilo cursiva de tipografía. Su diseño combina contraste en sus líneas con dinamismo en las ligaduras.

Design Process
The logotype is a handmade design created with hand tools like pencil, rubber, ruler and a portable backlight tracing table.
El logotipo fue diseñado a mano con herramientas como lápiz, goma, regla y un tablero retroiluminado para calcar.

Complementary Font Selection
Bree is a sleek sans serif font that delivers a polished and modern look. Some of its most characteristic features are the ‘a’ drawn in one stroke, the ‘e’ in cursive, the curves in the outer strokes of ‘v’ and ‘w’, letter Q’s stroke fluidity, and the fluidity of shapes in ‘g & z’. Clearly influenced by handwriting, Bree shows a pleasant mixture of rather unobtrusive capitals and the more vivid lowercase letters, that give the text a spirited and lively appearance.

Bree es una tipografía sans serif con un look moderno. Algunas de sus características más relevantes son el signo “a” en un trazo, la “e” cursiva, las curvas en la silueta de la “v” y “w”, el trazo fluido de la “Q” y las formas de la “g” y “z”. Claramente influenciada por la escritura a mano, Bree muestra una equilibrada combinación de letras capitales discretas con vívidas letras minúsculas, que le dan un espíritu y alma a su apariencia.
