City of York Council a brief of "Re-invigorating York". An initiative to improve public services and open spaces in and arround the city of York. 

 

After much research and surveys I decided that the most important area to improve would be "Piccadilly" and the transport system associated with the area. My project was to design a new bus station that accomondated for both the York Tour Buses and also three regular bus routes. This would ease conjestion and improve the areas safety.

Building designed to reflect on the history of the area. The new bus station will take the place of a World War Two glider factory. 

Interior seating desgned to reflect the shape of the building.
