I created two site-specific murals for the new offices of Spotify Berlin. For these meeting rooms (one pictured here), I created a visual interpretation of sound and music; imagining how beats, rhythm, static, voices, and sound waves would appear in the form of color and shape - from grainy texture to rounded forms, zigzags, and curved lines. I was also inspired by old-school boom boxes and tape players - utilizing the shape of the buttons and other elements (Play, Volume, Fast-Forward, Stop, and Pause) as bold, abstract forms. The result is a playful mural that energizes visitors and encourages the appreciation of music and sound.
This was created in Adobe Illustrator and later applied to the wall as a vinyl adhesive wallpaper.
