In the five weeks since Ukraine was invaded by Russia, there have been a lot of allegations of illegal behaviour.

In particular, Russia has been accused of breaking the rules of war by deliberately killing ordinary people in Ukraine.

There are international laws in place to protect people at times of war - breaking them is considered a war crime.
