Inspired on a very strange moment Lies wrote a poem about the fact that many birds in natural reserves and in every corner of the country are startled by the horrifying fireworks on new years night.
The Belgian Meteo in fact has visual evidence through sattelite images of the sudden outflow of birds on the exact moment of midnight. It's kind of terror what's happening with those animals.
Lies wrote her touching poem about it and I started illustrating and designing. It's a mixture of my memory image of the dying duck near my feat haunted by the terrifying noise and crashed in his flight...and the inspiration that came out by the words of Lies.
