Napa Memorial Unified school district passed a bond tofinance the design and re-construction of Napa Memorial Stadium. At the timethe stadium was the #4 rank high school football stadium in the nation becauseof its beautiful natural grass field, proximity of the bleachers to the fieldand atmosphere at the games. Unfortunately some of the reasons that everyoneloved the field so much were also the reasons that the stadium had to berenovated. The Stadium is the home of two local high schools that share thestadium alternating Fridays until they meet up for the last game of the seasonevery year. Drawings crowds over 7,000 every year they elected to renovate thestadium up to modern code which included ADA parking, pedestrian access, newconcession/ restrooms, fencing, bleachers, press boxes, teams rooms, elevators,rain water harvesting system and a new state of the art field.
