Project context
Within the realm of our project's scope, AUL Corp, a burgeoning insurance company, stands devoted to safeguarding individuals' vehicles and cultivating their confidence by partnering with dealers, lenders, and agents. Our focal objective was orchestrating the metamorphosis of the existing Quote & Sales portal into a novel entity christened the "ADL Portal."

Our mandate encompassed the conceptualization of a data sorting and filtering system, a tool crafted to enhance user productivity in the fulfillment of their duties and the adept management of the information at their disposal.

In my capacity as the lead designer, I was entrusted with the pivotal task of reimagining archaic dashboards rooted in legacy architecture. My endeavors revolved around the complete transition to native designs, thoughtfully tailored to our users' needs, spanning both desktop and mobile dimensions.

PAIN POINTS

- Current preference settings are inconsistent between all roles.
- Dealers, Agents, and Lenders do not have the ability to manage their own users resulting in a need to call AUL for assistance.
- Inability for a dealer to “customize” a VSC program which regularly calls for the creation of new programs.
- AUL Admin's inability to manage web/web service exceptions instead of IT.
