electric WELL worked with widely-recognized Hudson Valley singer/songwriter Ella Kondrat on her debut music video “Bringing Myself Back Home.”

Released in March 2021 and shot in February 2020 the music video uses simple shots and slow editing to focus on Ella’s performance while subtly exploring the lyrical themes of the song.

electric WELL produced all aspects of the video from lighting and cinematography to post-production editing and color grading. The color grading phases was a particular emphasis on this project as the balance between dark and light as well as the warmth and film grain provide a large portion of the visual effect.

The footage was shot on a Panasonic GH4 with a 50mm Prime lens and colored in DaVinci Resolve.
