Book covers for Smaki, a young publishing house based in Dnipro, Ukraine that focuses mainly on books about pregnancy and parenting.
All the covers feature similar lettering and color palettes.
The first book I worked on was Hold on to Your Kids: Why Parents Need to Matter More Than Peers by Gabor Maté and Gordon Neufeld. It established the style I returned to in all the following books.
The second one was Rest, Play, Grow: Making Sense of Preschoolers (Or Anyone Who Acts Like One) by Deborah MacNamara.
Next came Kiss Me: How to Raise Your Children with Love by Carlos González and Birth Reborn : What Childbirth Should Be by Michel Odent.
I've thoroughly enjoyed working on these playful and gentle covers and am looking forward to creating more!
