A cyrillic encryption device based on Alberti cypher disc. The smaller wheel spins on an axis which allows to change the relative position of the letters on the outer and the inner wheels. Alberti cypher disc was an analog encryption device that allowed polyalphabetic substitution and was a breakthrough encryption method back in 1467.

Made this set on commission for a LARP game in 2018. The first two discs were cut with a fine CNC milling machine, the other two were laser-engraved. Although laser-cut discs looks all neat and tidy, the milled and painted ones have their own rough appeal.
