    This is a re-construction of the medieval ring-fort (rath) of Tullyheron, outside Maghera, Co. Derry. This is a bivallate rath comprising two ditches and two banks. Other examples contain multiple ditches and banks and it is thought that this reflects the social status of its inhabitants, i.e. the more banks and ditches you have, the higher up the social ladder you become.
